WHY MISTER IMPORTANT ?
It's literaly because I nearly killed an innocent pedestrian on
the way to the market and he left a scathing note for me with
the parting shot, "try slowing down, Mr. Important."
Well, that's pretty hard for me to do, but the name did seem
appropriate. It helps put my aesthetic into perspective. On
the one hand I think good design is very important and I'm
passionate about it. On the other hand it's all a bit theatrical
and I can't suppress the urge to poke a little fun at myself and
the glamourosity of it all.
For the past 15 years or so I have had the pleasure of beeing
able to create environments that hopefully have left indelible
memories for the people who have experienced them. I now
currently work throughout the U.S. and am looking forward to
working overseas as well.
